This is great analysis. I’ve never understood why shotgun teams don’t run more fly sweep. Especially out of condensed formations, it is deadly and fairly inexpensive to install. It’s also underutilized in the goal line when defenses tend to load the box.
Any advice on running this system with a QB that isn't super mobile? He can run, but it's not his strength. Middle school program running the high school playbook, so we want to make it work with the athletes we have.

That’s a tough call, but as long as a QB will run downhill he can likely still be effective. Or, throw the RPO off it.
