You Can Be Home And Still Not Be There

You can be home and still not be there.

That is where Dustin Whitlock and Ryan Grow start episode one. Two active high school football coaches. Five kids between them. Fall camp in Florida heat, side jobs, a house full of lice, and an IV in the arm after a 7-on-7 tournament. This is the life behind the whistle.

They get honest about the phone problem, why it is easier to pour into your players than your own kids, and what your wife carries that nobody in the stands ever sees. Plus the birth stories. Cash was born at three o'clock on a Friday and Dustin coached that night. Brady was born in the middle of a hurricane and Ryan went straight from the hospital to paint the field.

If you have ever walked through your front door with practice still running in your head, this one is for you.

Presented by the Board Drill Network.
